Knowing how to speak in public, not just to a large audience when giving a lecture but also, and above all, at a meeting, when faced with subordinates, colleagues and superiors, is very important. Getting the message across to listeners by trying to reduce the degree of distortion of communication is vital in achieving the desired result. The aim of the Public Speaking course is to supply techniques and tools for effective public speaking by enhancing and improving the various aspects of communication. The course sets out to help participants to speak in public by managing their anxiety and emotions and developing the communications skills needed to engage and persuade their listeners.
